Daniel Zarchy is an attorney who practices civil litigation and privacy law in San Francisco, California. Daniel was named a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in 2018 and 2019 and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Daniel grew up in the Bay Area before studying global economics at UC Santa Cruz and studying abroad in Santiago, Chile. Daniel earned his J.D. at UC Hastings, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board. As a proud alum, he serves as an adjunct professor of Legal Research and Writing for first-year law students and continues to volunteer and coach the Hastings Moot Court team.

A die-hard Bay Area sports fan, Daniel co-founded a popular baseball podcast and can still debate the finer points of the Giants’ 2010, 2012, and 2014 World Series championship runs. When he’s not taking in a game at Oracle Park, he can be found counting down the days until Klay Thompson’s triumphant return to the perennial postseason-contending Warriors.
